Explore the dramatic ridge of Serra do Risco, formed millions of years ago during the breakup of Pangaea. Along the edge of these stunning cliffs, enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Arrábida limestone formations, and the Setúbal Peninsula. Lucky hikers might even spot dolphins and other marine life in the crystal-clear waters below. At the highest point (381m), we’ll take a break to enjoy local seasonal fruit and pastries while soaking in the endless ocean views. The journey continues through a serene Mediterranean forest filled with ancient oaks, pines, and a vibrant array of wild orchids and aromatic plants. If nature is on our side, we might encounter eagles, hawks, or even wild boars along the way. The experience is enriched with a touch of history: the surrounding area has revealed fascinating Bronze Age and Neolithic settlements, offering insight into the lives of early civilizations.
